Together We Can!
The Friends are excited to let everyone know that in cooperation with the Library's Board of Trustees, we have embarked on a large-scale fund raising campaign to fund the renovation of the historic barn adjacent to the existing library building.

Simply put, the library has outgrown the space within the Gloria Danforth Memorial Building and needs more room to accommodate the continued growth in both patron visits and in collections. It's time to expand this beloved free public library.
As regular users know (and as listed monthly in the Bucketville News) the library has an ever-growing book collection, audio and visual collections, as well as an expanding computer room - all to meet the needs of community members and visitors alike, children and adults.
That's where you come in! We'd like to invite you to stop by the Library at 170 Main Street to see the displays of our vision for the completed Barn Renovation project.
The Barn Renovation Committee plans to offer Naming Rights to the most important rooms in the completed barn - what a great way to preserve the legacy of a family or loved one! (Click here to read about one generous donor's request to name the main library building after his wife.)
We have an ambitious goal, but it is one that we believe is achievable! Our motto is Together We Can!

It was the hay days of the ski industry and a wonderful place to share with their children and enjoy the
The Gilberts strongly believe in the free access to a library wherever one lives. The community’s return on this investment will bring enrichment to the lives of children and adults. Jill and John Gilbert encourage everyone to get involved in this library expansion. “It feels good to participate and it is our community," Jill said. “It gives depth and breath to our family’s lives to join in this campaign and one has a feeling of pride and ownership by playing a role.” John and Jill both believe that pride in one’s community belongs to all the residents, and they hope everyone will get involved with this exciting renovation.
This is an excellent opportunity to be a partner in transforming the Wardsboro Library into a comfortable, multi-use community center. A similar effort enabled the volunteers of the
