2010
SPRING
Special fundraising event through April 2010
ART SALE! THANKS to a special Friend of the Wardsboro Library, an exhibition and sale of donated artworks will benefit the groups's Barn Renovation Fund. This month, Feb. 2010, and next, March 2010, the popular Gallery Walk on the first Friday of each month in Brattleboro will feature art work on display at TWICE UPON A TIME on Main Street. The art work will remain on sale through the end of April, 2010.
The mixed-media art works are by the late J.E. Judge and Rosemary O'Carroll and are a part of a major collection donated to the Friends at the end of 2009 by a South Wardsboro resident, Debbie Gervais. Gervais has been a sustaining supporter of the Friends. The profits from the sale of the art work are earmarked for Phase II of the Barn Restoration project and will help cover the cost of a new roof and insulation.
