At Town Hall, and The Big Tent - all on Main Street, Wardsboro, VT. America’s best turnip culinary event! Join the whole town for Gilfeather turnip soup and turnip recipe tastings at the Turnip Café, outdoor soup kiosk, farmer’s market, many new craft and specialty  artisan food vendors, 1000 + lbs of turnip, turnip seeds, turnip cookbooks, festival tee shirts, turnip-theme gifts, live music & entertainment.

Enter the Turnip Contest! Awards for the largest Gilfeather turnip grown from seed or seedling – enter yours to win in many creative categories.

10 AM to Noon  Register Turnips for the Turnip Contest
11 AM  Cafe & outdoor kiosk open for lunch & soup take-out
Noon   Deadline to Enter and Judging of Turnip Contest 
1 PM   Turnip Contest Awards announced in Town Hall

2 PM  Drawing for the Raffle.
